Denyse Rowe

B.Sc., M.Cl.Sc., Aud(c), Registered CASLPO Audiologist

With a deep-rooted passion for audiology and a dedication to serving the community, I have had the privilege of calling Kawartha Lakes home for the past 20 years. Since 2009, I have been proudly serving as an Audiologist at Lindsay Ear Clinic, where I have had the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals experiencing hearing challenges.

My journey in audiology began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Linguistics from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Building on this foundation, I pursued a Masters of Clinical Science in Audiology from the University of Western Ontario, honing my skills and expertise in providing specialized care to those with auditory needs.

To further expand my knowledge and skill set, I completed the “Tinnitus Retraining Therapy for Management of Tinnitus and Hyperacusis” program from the Jastreboff Hearing Disorders Foundation Inc. This advanced training has equipped me with specialized techniques to address complex auditory conditions, ensuring that I can provide the highest level of care to my patients.

At Lindsay Ear Clinic, I am dedicated to offering comprehensive care to each individual who walks through our doors. Whether it’s diagnosing hearing loss, fitting hearing aids, or providing therapeutic interventions, my goal is to empower patients to overcome auditory challenges and enhance their quality of life.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I find joy and fulfillment in various artistic and outdoor pursuits. As a saxophonist with the Kawartha Lakes Concert Band and a vocalist with the Cambridge Street Singers, I embrace the transformative power of music to uplift spirits and foster community connections. Additionally, I find solace and rejuvenation in nature through activities such as camping, hiking, and stand-up paddleboarding during the summer months.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve the Kawartha Lakes community and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact through compassionate audiological care.
